Dr. Kumiko SHIMOJIMA

Dr. Kumiko Shimojima is a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist from Japan and the Director of KUMIKO CLINIC in Tokyo. Her clinical expertise focuses on body contouring and injectable treatments, with a particular interest in achieving natural, anatomically driven, and patient-tailored aesthetic outcomes.

She graduated from Kanazawa University in 2000 and completed her postgraduate dermatology training at Kyorin University, Tokyo, from 2001 to 2002. She subsequently refined her clinical and procedural skills at Tokyo Metropolitan Hiroo General Hospital, where she trained from 2003 to 2006.

Dr. Shimojima has been a member of the Allergan Japan Faculty for over 12 years, playing an active role in physician education. She has provided advanced training in injection techniques and has served as a key opinion leader in the field of body contouring, contributing to the dissemination of safe and effective aesthetic practices across Japan.
