Session objectives

This Thread Contributed Talks session will present the latest advancements in resorbable and barbed suture techniques and thread-based facial rejuvenation. Presentations include comparative analyses of barbed versus conventional sutures, ultrasound-guided thread placement, innovative vectorial lifting with variable-caliber threads, optimization of thread density for antigravity effects, and management of complications, including facial nerve paresis and paralysis using PLA/PCL threads. Evidence-based insights for both novice and experienced aesthetic practitioners will be emphasized.
